There are many exceptions but I speak as I find.
Like lots of City fans not only have I played dozens of clips of our celebrations but I’ve done the same looking at LFC fan’s devastation…well you do…everyone does.
While I have been enjoying both I have come across a general trend that surprised me but one I’ve seen before and dismissed.
When I’ve seen the after match reactions of Liverpool supporters who aren’t scousers they fit the stereotype of City bingo filled with hate and entitlement.
However, I have seen plenty of Liverpudlians giving us a lot of credit, the general feeling being that they tried everything and still couldn’t finish above an astonishing team. In particular the 3 in 5 has been applauded a lot.
Put it this way; I would find it difficult to return the compliment even though I know how good they are.
Im not saying this is true across the board but perhaps the outsiders who started supporting Liverpool to be part of success are more “cultish” than the locals.
