Liverpool Thread - 2022/23

Been catching up on some TV this week and as a lot in the TV series thread have said, The English is magnificent. Another series I've been rather remiss in catching up on is Our Friends in the North, which has only been out since 1996!

Why am I posting in the scallies' thread? Well, one of the many stand outs in Our Friends is Malcolm McDowell who I loved in Time after Time, where he played HG Wells pursuing David Warner's Infamous serial killer.

Anyhow I thought McDowell was a Leeds fan as that's where he grew up. Alas, he spent some years in yawksire, before the family moved to liverpool, where you guessed it, young Malcolm became a red!

Always preferred that Warren Clarke in Clockwork Orange anyway. He knew what a real football club was.

The result of this investigation is perhaps the most important moment in the Premier League's history. If they do their job properly, the Premier League will find City guilty and punish them to the full extent, which should be relegation and titles stripped, given how much their cheating has altered the landscape of English football for over a decade. They've robbed so many clubs of league titles, FA Cups, League Cups and the European spots that go with that.

If, as I suspect, the Premier League don't do their job and let it slide because it's too damaging to their brand to admit City have been cheating for fifteen years unchecked, then it gives the green light for Newcastle and any other potential sportswashing project to do whatever the hell they want, ruining the top tier of football in this country forever.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I bet cunts like him/her weren't complaining when we "robbed" United of the league title in 2012!

To that end, anyone with half a brain cell can see that this prick doesn't give a shit about us winning trophies at the expense of other clubs. They're only really arsed that we've won them at the expense of Liverpool and it fucking kills them that we keep doing it!

Hmmmmm. I think only one club has robbed fellow clubs of European football/European cups and for any chance for fans of clubs like Coventry/Luton and Wimbledon to watch their clubs in Europe. Let that sink in. That club are the only club to get clubs banned from European competitions and had the potential to fuckup English football forever.
