Dippers next league game is away at Arsenal and they play Rangers before that.
We might be in the weird place of wanting them to get a result against the team that are starting to look like genuine contenders this season.
Dippers always win there.

Anyone who remembers the 'bad old days' knows there were times when fans were crushed into inadequate spaces, and that there were dangerous crowd movements at times. To be honest, it amazes me deaths and serious injuries were relatively rare. A lot of the old grounds were hazardous if full, or near full. Many times I've been carried out of the Kippax in a crush at the end of the game with my feet literally off the ground. A laugh at the time, but anyone who went under would have been trampled to death.

Very much a case of: 'There, but for the grace of God, go I.'
Went to a Final at Maine road in the late 60s can't remember who it was but it was similar to the FA Vase, it was absolutely hammered we were in the Kippax getting crushed and had to be put over the wall onto the pitch, would have been about 13/14 years old

They won't finish top four, that's clear.

They are wide open in the middle of the park and looking forward to going there in a couple weeks.

Henderson, Fabinho and Thiago just can't get there.

Legs have gone in the team.

I wonder if Bellingham fancies playing Europa Conference...
They'll be in a real scrap for a top 4 spot. I think us and the North London pair will finish above them. That'll leave (probably) the Mickeys, rags and Chelsea to fight it out for the last CL spot.

Somethings off with them at the moment , perhaps Klopp has flogged them too much over past 7 years and they’ve got nothing left

TAA is getting loads of flak and just seems half arsed , he’s never been a great defender but it looks like He’s got no legs left. Seems like he’s playing like Cancelo as an auxiliary midfielder but doesn’t have athletic abilty to pull it off and also defend his position

I think Van Dijks the main problem though , seems like he’s making a mistake a game and they are a shadow of the team they were with him in this form.

11 points behind already , if the Arse beat them next week are they out of the title race ?

The problem for me is threefold:
1 - VVD is 80% (at most) of the player he was
2 - They sold Mane
3 - Teams no longer fear them

I wonder if City have just broken them.....

The fact that no matter how "great" they have been, City have been greater.
Whatever they do........ it's never enough....
We win the league two years running without a striker. And then they watch us sign Haaland who scores 14 goals in 8 games.....
We have simply deflated that club.
And they know it.
And they know that City know it.

No thanks.

An Arsenal win for me all day against the dippers. The more points the dippers drop and the further they fall off another title race the better.

Don't worry about the tarquins, they will do what they do best come the business end of the season.

It's about time Liverpool stopped punching above their weight and returned to their rightful position of Premier League irrelevance.

I'd say that team is coming to the end of its natural cycle. It happens to every successful team; Liverpool back in the 80s, Arsenal in the early 90s, Chelsea under Mourinho and utd under Ferguson. And we'd be naive to think it won't happen to us at well.

I think he has the athletic ability; it’s probably more that he Is stale, both mentally and physically, as he plays nearly every game, whereas Pep uses more rotation to keep the squad fresher.
