What amuses me most about the present day Liverpool, is they like to push the narrative that they are the plucky underdogs, single handily fighting against the evil of MCFC. Not just for themselves but as the saviours of football itself.

I had a Twitter conversation with a journalist last week, who kept insisting that there was no longer “ a level playing field” I pointed out that there has never been a level playing field. And the last thing Liverpool actually want is a level playing field. They don’t want Southampton to be in a financial position to tell them to sling their hook every time they unsettle their star players and eventually poach them. They don’t want Wolves to be in a position to tell them they’re keeping hold of their star striker when they come knocking.

There are only a handful of clubs in the world who have the financial clout of Liverpool. Their problem isn’t a lack of a level playing field. It’s that they are no longer at the very top of it.

The playing field has always been in their favour since the Littlewoods money came in. After that the Premier league was formed when they were coming to the end of their dominance, they managed to get a tv deal that gave them and 5 other clubs a 15 percent of the sky money. City at the time got 10 percent.

Then they monopolised the extended Champions league places with United, Arsenal and Chelsea in the 2000s. For a team that has had the dice loaded in their favour a lot longer than us, they haven’t half underachieved winning one league title in the last 30 odd years .

12 minutes of some scouser sat in a bedsit in front of a shitty flag sellotaped to the wall?

It’s like one of those ISIS videos but even more deranged.
Even the kopite Scousers cannot stand this idiot. Very Very annoying child like person.

His mum is rather fit though

Looking forward to certain people's City/Liverpool combined XI this week which will no doubt include about 2 City players cause you know, Liverpool have the best everything, which is why City win the league every year

Liverpool are having a tough start to the season, and now they have numerous players out with injury. So I say use this opportunity to go for the kill, batter them, - hard... Psychologically scar them deep enough to make them surrender the title race completely, and make them fear us ahead of our future battles.

Sorry if I sound a bit harsh and not very sportsmanlike, but I really don't like that vile lot and I would LOVE to experience a proper humiliating beating, would love to see that usually smug face of the rambling White teeth looking defeated and insecure.

They're bonkers...

I feel same, id love haaland hat-trick and Nunez sent off. That would be epic!

Not forgetting Robertson who is already injured.
They're back 4 is going to be Tsimikas, van dijk. Konate/gomez, Milner. If we don't rip them a new one, something isn't right

It’ll be interesting to see if van dijk plays … there’s a theory going around that he might pull out to keep his ‘never been beaten at Anfield’ record intact ;-)

Does anyone else just find themselves incapable of watching more than 30 seconds of one of their stupid **** fans waffling on YouTube about injustices and squealing about whatever decisions "went against them". I just can't, honestly, I just can't. I cringe with embarrassment. Freaks.
