Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

There has been reports that a high pitched whining sound has been emitting constantly since around 6pm last Sunday. The sound seems to be eminating from the Stanley Park area of Liverpool and people have made out the following words "penalty, cheating manc bastards, 115, robbed, it means more" and other whining sounds. The sound has a tone which has accents of Liverpudlian, Irish, Norwegian and heavier undertone of German.

People are advised to totally ignore it as it is a phenomenon that often occurs when a certain cult gathers around that area and after their rituals and observances, the results they expect to happen do not occur. It is nothing to be afraid of, it is not to be taken seriously and we should just laugh it off.

Why do these dippers equate penalty ( which it wasn't) as a goal.
As we have seen in the past they don't all go in.

The best way to wind up a dipper is to agree with everything and then take it further south than they could even imagine. Stones goal should have been ruled out, Eddie sent off, it was a dangerous foul by Doku, penalty and a sending off. Walker should have been booked earlier and why exactly do refs (var) hate li'pull?
 
I was intrigued by the discussion of the "rivalry" between Klopp and Pep. I always thought that Liverpool's real rivals were Chelsea or even Leicester. Klopp has admittedly won more than Leicester and that obviously means more, but Leicester did win both the PL and FA cup before Klopp. Chelsea, on the other hand, have won the PL, the FA cup, the CL and the league cup as many times as Klopp while he has been at Anfield. His rivalry with Clsea is a lot keenr than with a man who has won the PL 5 times more than he has, and the FA and league cups twice as many as he has and the CL as many as he has. That is only rivalry scouse style.
 
Does the draw also mean more to them than to us? :)

They so much wanted to beat the oil money cheats (that's us) at their holy ground in front of the bestests fans and while the vitriol sadly unsettled our lads in the 2nd half it still wasn't enough to beat us - and they are fuming. They had several top chances and they bottled every single one. Only a present by us helped to convert a penalty. That's all.

Even their proven cheating didn't work (once). Bottlers.
