That surely has to be a wind-up!

One thing I’ll say about FSG - their managerial appointments have been decent. Bringing Dalglish back to steady the ship after they sacked Hodgson, Rodgers who came within a whisker of winning the league in his second season, Klopp who was the only one to consistently challenge Pep for years and won trophies, and Slot who won the league in his first season, albeit with Klopp’s team. Postecoglou just doesn’t fit the profile of a FSG appointment what with his stock falling so much over the last couple of years.

Be funny as fuck if it happens though!
The dilemma this causes is ….. surely his next calling is hopefully from SJ

Liverpool fans used to explain our success with money. In the summer, they broke the record for most expensive signings twice and now have lost 8 from the last 11 games, the last 3 games by 3 goals. Now they must know, if they are not hopelessly thick, that our success wasn't mostly about money, but about having the right environment and a genius manager.

That said, their problems show how difficult it is to win multiple titles in a row and that some of our fans are too critical of Pep.

Never heard City players or the media mention how grief stricken we were after losing Marc Vivien Foe in mid season and how our performances were being affected
It wasn’t mid season to be fair but your point is a good one. We went on to have a poor season in 03/04 after a good start, finishing just a couple of places above the drop zone. But at no point do I remember the fans, players, or Keegan saying it was down to Foe’s death.

I see spitting thicko “carra” has mumbled out the old chestnut , “liverpool arent a club that sack coaches”.

united fans used to come out with this bollocks. Fine when you have a generational coach in GPC, conveniently forgetting that inbetween busby and the hard shoulder shitter they sacked coaches for fun. And since of course

And just like the other cheek of the same arse, liverpool had klipperty for 9 years, no need to sack!!! But before him plenty of coaches came and went.

If you take this moral high ground itll bite you on the arse

Our success was about having the best players. As has ever been thus.

Dalglish - won nothing during that period.

Rodgers - won nothing.

Klopp - one title in a decade.

The only manager you could argue they got right was Slot, despite current form.

Everything else is scouse propaganda.
