Well said, mate.I can see why he went. He must have known we were buying Sterling and De Bruyne and he would have become even more of a bit part player.
We played two title winning games at home and 3 cup finals while he was with us and he started none. To be honest that would have pissed most players off, especially the Sunderland one.
He will probably win a trophy or two at Liverpool as they will be thereabouts in the cups and for him that may be sufficient along with playing every game.
He gave his all every game for us, it just wasn't always good enough to get him a start.
