Any idea how much of a restricted view will it be, given that the stand has been renovated? Can't be as bad as previously surely?

I was around row 2 last year you struggle to see the far side corner flag but everything else you could make out. Interested to see how they enforce the seating.
 
82 left at the moment. Looks likely to sell out at 24.5k which as someone said compared to the rags which sold out at 23k with only 100 more seems odd. Likely the club has siphoned more than usual. Wonder if these people will trek to Newcastle for a midweek cup game, or Brentford, Bournemouth etc for late kick offs with no trains back. Club is screwing us over and whilst at the moment they might think they are being clever in the long term they are being very stupid.

It is the first few rows of any ground if you can't see the goal line when seated over the advertising board, and seems to apply to 3 rows.

Depends on body measurements and sight lines, taller people less affected.

For rags we received 3008 tickets, for dippers 2505, hence it getting down to 23K

Those figures are the full allocation received before they are split up in to the 4 different criteria
We got 100 tickets fewer for Liverpool than United for the loyalty points scheme.
It has sold out at 24500 points for Liverpool (only 58 available at that point).
United sold out at 23000 points that is 3 more sales windows .
100 less tickets equtates to 1 sales window .
The under 17 juniors were pulled 3 sales windows earlier than the United match.
Somewhere from the original amount going onsale to the loyalty points scheme 1500 tickets at the first window, some have been siphoned off .
1500 tickets takes you to roughly 23000 points .
They think we are thick but theres alot of people on here who keep detailed stats of selling criteria. ( sad but true )
The proof will be in the pudding when we turn up at Anfield and see the the vast numbers of strangers and half and half scarves

Yep hard to disagree with this.

That 1,393 felt like a lot that went on sale. I assumed 24k would get one off that and possibly even get down to 23k. Something has definitely gone on IMO.

It feels as though City shit the bed when that 712 tickets on sale information leaked out. Almost like they'd been caught out but couldn't get away with it....

Like the Ste Tudor bloke who’s always on the 9320 podcast - sounds more scouse than Jamie Carragher after 10 pints and a trip round the Beatles museum but goes on and on and on about how he’s from Wales haha

I feel sorry for him, seems like a nice lad. Imagine sounding like that. I’d have to get elocution lessons.

The joke was more that Liverpool fans often seem to come from North Wales, Northampton and Norway. I don’t think I know anyone here who goes yet the Everton and Tranmere do. There’s lots of Scouse migration to North Wales so the accent has infiltrated across.

My Wales shirts often get mistaken for Liverpool by their own fans. I’m fairly confident I’d never mistake City for another team in sky blue. You’d be amazed how many don’t know what their own shirts are or crest is.

I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Lazio purely because they play in City blue.

Under Armour cap, t-shirt, shorts, socks and trainers in an Anfield pub:

-What’s the shirt, mate?
-Malaga.
-Who?
-Malaga.
-Manchester?

Iceland, Italy and Rangers are the only other blue shirts I have although it’s a darker one.

There’s a guy, possibly a member on here, who was innocently wandering around Rome in a City shirt one day back in the 90s, on the morning of the Rome derby.

Next minute, he’d been jumped and had his head kicked in by a load of Roma fans.

It’s one of those things that isn’t the slightest bit funny but was also kind of a bit funny.

It was alway gonna be iffy (it was)
The night before we were sat in the pub and all agreed no colours ! Had a mate who worked for Umbro used get various shirts and this was one of them

Next day one look lad turns up wearing it claiming it’s not a city shirt and it will be fine !!!

It was a city shirt with a different badge !!!

He got slapped !
