FFS Blues man up... never seen so much doom and gloom in a pre match thread..

Suarez has a poor/normal scoring record against the top teams, why?
Liverpool are poor on defence and when pressured.
If City can play at home as they have all year then it will be
no contest.

Yes I'm going thanx. And I just believe it will be a 2-2 draw. They have been the only team in the league in the last 12 months to really outplay us at home

To be fair to everyone, you have got form

You're right I do but there are times when I'm genuine and when I'm taking the piss and this is the former

Damage is done mate, you're the boy who cried wolf, once to often

With no Gerrard they don't really have any big game type players, not any proven ones anyway but they are dangerous going forward, especially from wide. Providing we keep control of midfield I think this one will just be a case of us making sure we score more than they do.... Cast iron that we'll mess up somewhere at the back and concede but we just need to make sure we score enough......

Gerrard always seems to get 1 goal, it's like a -1 start for them today.

I just hope if they press us well we wont be looking fucked and start giving the ball back for hoofing. In the midfield there will be lot of battles they run a lot, also the problem of them maybe outnumbering usand the fact they have a world class striker in top form Arsenal didnt have this.

I would like a 541 with one striker supported by Nasri or Silva in the middle instead of Dzeko+Beast together.

Individual small mistakes can easily be punished by Suarez not mentioning bigger ones. He really is in top form, watched his runs, he timing is great these days, knows a lot of times when to start sprint to beat the offside line and he is getting great balls by his team mates.

100% sure we will score but also concede. So for me its over 2.5 for sure like most of our home matches.

A win would be perfect gift for Christmas,

What's this that Ian cheeseman been going on about? Has Kompany been injured in training

The rumour mill is circulating. I'm hearing Negredo!

Cheeseman shouldn't have posted anything!

Southampton won 1-0 over liverpool at liverpool. They were not afraid!
So City can hammer them around 4-1, would be nice! :)

Cheeseman has been a bit of a Cheesdick tbh, no need for him to report it as it hands Liverpool an advantage, given them 4 hours to get there mentality right thinking we are going to miss an important player whether it happens or not, pretty naughty and he shouldn't have done it, they find things out like that when the team sheet is handed in and not a minute before!

Getting really stressed up now with all these rumours,
Why did cheeseman open his fucking big mouth ?

A scrappy United win, rumours of a serious City injury... the omens are bad. But we're good at tearing up the script (in good and bad ways) so let's do this. :D

Our reserves beat Bayern. We will just have to rely on our system.

That said I really hope it's not Yaya or Silva again.

If its Negredo then we are looking at 4-5-1 probably.

This is where you need people like Micha and Jovetic to step up when they are needed...hmmmmm.

Hoping Nasty and Zab make it.

-- Thu Dec 26, 2013 3:12 pm --

When did the injury become "serious" ?!

I saw Negredo in Alderley Edge at approx 1pm. Does this mean anything? He didn't look injured btw.
