1. Did i imagine reading somewhere that Samir was training again?
2. Here's what I see:
Hart
Zabba VK Ota Clichy
Fernando Dino
Navas Silva Sterling
Kun

Planning to bring on Nacho at a wing or to replace Kun
-could also bring in MDM as a 3rd DM if we get up and/or move Dino to the 10 and get Silva off if the ankle isn't 100%

Pelle has just said “I don’t know what will be the staring XI, but one player who I’m sure will start is Raheem Sterling. He’s a young man, young player, starting his career, and he knows how to deal with pressure.”

Big mistake this....will prove a ready made pick me up for these pathetic Liverpool fans who are gutted right now after losing. It's not like Sterling is playing brilliant and scoring goals for fun at the moment...his confidence clearly suffered after those misses on Sunday. For me, it's got nothing to do with this dealing with pressure situation....he has dealt very well with the pressure so far for such a young man and I hope he has a fantastic finish to the season for City.

Other than his miss on Sunday he's been brilliant in his last 2 games, the only question is can he handle the pressure, the manager clearly thinks he can and after the goalkeeping decision on Sunday i'm going to say the manager knows best on this one.

I really hope you are right.

I think we will get a draw, cant see us winning at their place just based on our past results against them there. However if we were to win we would have a fantastic chance of climbing the table.
Based on past results the dippers should have walked the penalties...

They gave everything against us and were lucky to take it to pens. They will be physically and mentally drained as well as a little crestfallen. We on the other hand will still buzzing and we can bring some fresh legs in. I don't think we've had a better chance of winning at Anfield for a long time.

Yes what stony said - confidence!

If he doesn't play then there is no chance of him scoring in front of the kop and running past them with a big grin on his face. Might not happen of course but we should do everything we can to make it a possibility, beginning with starting with him.

I'm not advocating for this - but any chance we see a youth player besides Kelechi in the starting XI? It is likely Yaya will miss out. I have the same inclination that Silva is probably pretty gassed himself. It would be surprising if either of the Garcia's were even on the bench at all, but I suppose it is possible. I see this game being drab or boring if both starting lineups are near the same. These players will not be able to produce the same intensity we saw 2 days ago...City can maybe ride the wave of emotion for the first half of the game. Hopefully we can score early...

Also, its not been said previously from what I can tell, but Bony will surely play a part at some point in this game. Whether we like it or not is an entirely different matter...
