I could nt be arsed reading 41 pages on my mate knows someone that knows Mancinis babysitter who is looking for a new job so we must be getting Mourinho, so Liverpool last night only had 37,000 in, there lowest attendance of the season by about 5000.
Surely we have to put an offer in for Torres and or Gerrard. They are broke and need the money badly unless they can find a buyer PDQ and crowds are dwindling.

a lot of the mickeys are already on there way to madrid thats why it was a lower gate travelling by coach and ferry

strange, the empty seats were in those areas that generally sell last ... must be their Glory Hunters who are going to Madrid!

dont know my mates a big liverpool fan he's gone yesterday afternoon

It was a Monday night game, on TV, and they have nothing really to play for (in the league at least). Hardly suprising that there were that many empty seats. We had loads of empty seats during our last Monday night ESPN game (Wigan, i think) and that's despite us actually having something to play for.

sorry aren't liverpool supposed to have 20000 people waiting for season tickets - piss poor turn out. What will they be like after a few years in the wilderness.

Liverpool always attract a lot of irish supporters (as do united) and most of those woudnt have come because of the flying ban, likewise they have a lot of scandinavian support who also wouldnt have been able to come over

As another poster pointed out, the empty seats were all clustered together, similar to when we dont sell out, so if the lower attendance was down to the regular irish and norwegians travelling over you would imagine they would of been dotted around the ground as i guess they would of bought tickets before paying for flights.

To be honest I thought it was a shocking gate, considering they still have an outside chance of a Champs league spot and a europa semi final to look forward too.

not really the case as supporters clubs buy in bulk and with city these bulk buy's by supporters clubs are usually in the samer area
