    So the rag socks are home to Warrington and Ashton United home to Pontefract

    Yes, City of Liverpool were formed to be a community club within the city that didn't alienate potential followers by aligning itself with either of the big clubs in the area. In other words, exactly the kind of venture I'd have wished well had the anti-Glazer protesters at United gone for in 2005, reaching out to other fans, rather than styling themselves as a third-rate rag tribute act.
