ever since the internet really came into being i've been able to follow the blues on a weekly basis. i haven't been able to get to see a game in over twenty years, though I follow results week in week out .the other day I was displaying my city shirt, from 87'ish with the` brother' sponsership and it really struck me what has been bothering me for so long, why the f@#%$ did we change the emblem, you know, the ship and the lancashire rose. I know that i must have missed out on this major developmentduring this time , but please someone tell me why this happened ,when and what the f$%^ our motto means. go city and f^%$ all others. idaho is behind you

Oh God, this f**king topic again. Ric - can we set up a forum just on the badge please?!

We changed it because we didn't own the copyright to the circular badge. The eagle is based on the Manchester Corporation Logo. The latin motto means 'Pride in Battle'.

ah stereotyping at its best..why would he or she be a pig farmer? As for the deliverence clip, brilliant banjo playing 1 of my favourites but filmed in Georgia,a southern state.Idaho is thousands of miles the other side of the USA and a northern state.
