Looking forward to the snow/winter?

We are going to Finnish Lapland for Christmas, so it's a yes from me.

I thought it was finished already?
I'd rather finish off over a lapdancer myself.

-- Tue Nov 19, 2013 6:51 pm --

The GF tells me it was snowing going into Stoke this morning, they deserve it.

Stock up on six-fingered gloves and you'll make a killing on Hanley market tomorrow.

She working in Handley at the vets, finger removal surgery I think:)

Mossley. The land that time didn't want to know!!

A mate of mine lived at the top of Micklehurst Road. Had to fight the packs of wolves off from September to May, and that was without snow falling.

Give me rain any day to snow, you don't have to piss about de-icing your car to go out.

And while we're at it, at this time of year, HUMBUG to all men.

When you've got a 150 mile drive to work in the lakes it can be a bit of a pain.

surely you'd get out of it if the weather was bad?

Winter's here! Snow falls across large swathes of Britain as icy blast sweeps in

Sensationalist bollocks. All that article actually reports is a light dusting of snow in the Scottish Highlands.

-- Tue Nov 19, 2013 8:50 pm --

So; they got two light dustings up in sweatyland then?

;-)

No I'm fooking not.
Nice to look at when you're warm and cosy inside the house but that's about it.
Street like an ice rink. Having to take silly little steps holding on to walls and privets and wing mirrors that takes me about 10 minutes just to get out of a small cul-de-sac hopefully in one piece without breaking me neck!
Then having to dice with death with cars walking on the road which just may have been gritted.
Feet fooking wet and freezing.
Hate it when it turns to slush and takes forever to go.
No thanks.
Bah fooking Humbug!!
