Could have been an x7 or an RD 250, both do that speedMy mid 60s 250cc twin wouldnt get anywhere near 100mph even downhill. What were you riding

Not to be confused with the RD400 which was death on wheels, a twin two stroke which was a bit of a hand full.Could have been an x7 or an RD 250, both do that speed
A thing of beauty indeed, but that was the older air cooled one, the real death machine was the RD350lc (liquid cooled) one of my favourite bikes feom that eraNot to be confused with the RD400 which was death on wheels, a twin two stroke which was a bit of a hand full.
Legally you need to have a provisional licence and a valid CBT certificate (valid for 2 years) which has proved to an assessor that you are competent enough to ride a 125cc max vehicle on the road, unaccompanied. You still cannot ride on certain roads and you cannot carry a pillion passenger.Learner drivers aren't legally allowed out on the road unaccompanied though, are they ? I agree dickhead drivers abound just like dickhead motorcyclists, dickhead cyclists and dickhead e-scooters etc. Too many dickheads full stop.
RD 250 Yamaha bit quicker than the Gt250 suzuki my mate is currently doing up a GT750 was my dream bike back in the dayMy mid 60s 250cc twin wouldnt get anywhere near 100mph even downhill. What were you riding
We have them here too.The balaclavaed up scumbags throwing wheelies down the wrong side of the road bring out the worst in me.
I have some dark thoughts about them.
Loved the original LC 350 . Unfortunately i never had the money to afford one . Had a rather nice XS250 American import though and a RD200 back in the early 80`s . Still ride today . Had my Yam XJR1300 for 19 years and love it .A thing of beauty indeed, but that was the older air cooled one, the real death machine was the RD350lc (liquid cooled) one of my favourite bikes feom that era
I was in the same boat financially but had a string of bikes, last one being a Kawasaki 1100 Eddie Lawson replica, it was very quick and overall not as good as my Kawasaki GT 750, shaft drive. I rode all over western Europe on that, several times over to the Isle of Man.Loved the original LC 350 . Unfortunately i never had the money to afford one .
