If anyone read this and thought it was unbelievable, it’s because predictably…it’s complete bullshit.

Theft under $950 is simply classed as a misdemeanour instead of a felony, and is still punishable with 6 months in prison and a $1000 fine.

The retail industries own statistics also show shoplifting has not increased significantly in the USA for over a decade, it’s just getting more attention because of a few viral videos.

Crazy to see some of the videos of "people" robbing from all kinds of stores. Seems like it's only getting worse the longer it goes on. Not too sure what the solution is to be honest, I'm old school so wouldn't be against just opening fire.
