Is it me or is the lottery all wrong?

3 numbers=£10
4 numbers=£40-90
5 numbers= £1500-3000

MASIVE JUMP IN REALITY AND PERSPECTAVE

5+1 numbers= £4-5 HUNDRED grand

6 numbers 1-5 MILLION

Most working family would benefit from a win of £50-100 grand it would pay off a mortgage, pay of all bills, give them a holiday, buy them a car and put a few grand away for the rainy day.

That figure just isnt ever available to win on a lottery draw...WHY...because the organisers a more keen to get people to buy in with the thought of a huge win that will never be won statistically......... If it was run properly it would be aimed at giving more people a bit less but still enough to make a serious impact on there lives.

Why didnt Richard Branson get to run it when he said he would do it for nothing? Old boys network? Money changing hands in brown paper bags? I think it stinks and it is indicative of our greed based sociaty!!!!!!

The reason Branson didn't get it was because even though he'd run it as a not for profit business, it was going to cost far more to run and so the "good causes" would've received less money.
Also, Branson's plan was to increase the number of draw balls to eight (seven plus the bonus) so that winning the big prize became even harder. The reason, more rollovers and huge jackpots. More people tend to enter the lottery when there's a fucking obsene amount up for grabs.
I worked with someone who got five numbers and they recieived £1,500. Her bonus ball was one number off and if she'd had that her prize would have been about 50k

I thought about buying a ticket for tonight's euro-jackpot (£100mill they reckon) but in all honesty I agree with the general injustice of the uneven distribution of prize money. In truth it's the headline jackpot that draws the money in.
I just wonder if they were to try it and spread the prizes out a bit more......would they lose or make sales....must be worth a crack

won a tenner now and then had 4 numbers once...i know of a bloke who won 4/5mil and a year later about £150,000, i also know a bloke who didnt put his wifes numbers on when she'd got 5+bonus she battered him.

think its about time they changed the format of it now its been going for so long.
