lou

Every neutral in the world knows that was a yellow card and, as a second yellow, a deserved sending off. Maybe should have even been off for the first yellow with a stricter ref.

No there is a bloke i would have loved to be sat in a boozer with last night............biggest prick going.............ever

Was he asked why he thought 'United didn't deserve the sending off'.

I'd be interested in hearing his justification!

Anyway, what a nice guy Lou is. Why do Sky continue to wheel the guy out, given a quick googling tells us:

Hate the guy, but love the fact that it was one of my family members who arrested him on his tax evasion in the 80's. Great collar for a blue dibble.

Lou Macari, the former manager of Swindon Town, told a court last year that ex gratia payments to players and staff were widespread. Cash was frequently paid tax-free, he claimed.

(Whilst Macari was found not guilty of tax evasion it is significant the chairman and club accountant were found guilty of the same offence at trial, the chairman receiving jail time).

Then's there's the betting scandal where Macari and his chairman bet on their own team to lose a game at Newcastle. Macari was fined and the chairman was banned for 3 years:

Quite interesting given the recent allegations about certain referees being in the pay of far eastern betting syndicates. Money talks, as always.
