Luton at home is not going to be tougher than Madrid at home. Madrid are a world class side.

Luton, whilst have a decent scoring tally (21 in 16) away from home, they have conceded the most goals away home this season, even more so than Sheffield United.

If the likes of Alvarez, De Bruyne, Doku, Kovacic, Nunes and even Haaland - who I think will play so he can garner confidence - cannot see these off at home we might as well pack up, go home and call the season now.
Rodri rested will worry me, although the lad thoroughly deserves one

Of course but there are loads of better stadiums than the one in Turkey.
I understand Wembley is much easier to get to but it's a soulless shithole .
I do understand though that some people will prefer a trip to Wembley, than say, Rome or Berlin
Personally would much prefer Rome or Berlin than Wembley

Is this a game where we are thinking we could rest Rodri and maybe Foden?

Its always a bit risky to rotate in the prem but I think its also probably ncessary.

Kovacic Nunes (esp) Doku needed to step up - Think Alvarez may come back into the picture as well

Nunes - Kovacic
Bobb - De Bruyne - Doku
Alvarez

Foden, Haaland, Silva, Rodri, Grealish rest, or sub on.

never gonna happen is it.

It's worth remembering that Rodri wasn't the only player missing when we lost games earlier this season.

Obviously Kev was out, but also Silva missed Newcastle and Wolves. He started at Arsenal as he was needed, but had been out for a few games. Grealish was also injured, and only managed a few minutes at the end of the games. He also missed the Villa game with a suspension. Stones was also injured.

When you add in that Kovacic, Nunes and Doku had only played a few games by this point, and never in a settled side, it's no surprise we struggled.

That's essentially left the team with Kovacic as the only real "control" player, and he was still working out the systems, and was also coming back from injury.

There really shouldn't be a problem now that it's just Rodri having a rest.

Who are these people who'd prefer Rome or Berlin ?

Of course Wembley is a soulless shit ole, and easier to get to if you're a UK resident or live in Northern France.

Rome and Berlin aren't in the equation this year so what's their relevance.

If you don't want a ticket for the soulless shithole of Wembley I'll have your ticket(s)

Oh....and did you go to the Ataturk ??
