We need a couple of attempts in Europa League before we try to win Champs League. And I for one, can say Jurgen Klopp is a better manager hands down. U cannot get a team like ours past this Lyon team,, says plenty about Pep.
 
Had enough of feeling like this. Pep keeps fucking us over in these huge moments. This is not his toy to play with and experiment with. But he takes it as a personal opportunity to shock. Too big an ego and think we seriously need a succession plan
 
that miss is why sterling will never quite be on the level of a neymar or mbappe, let alone a messi or ronaldo, and this is not me having a go: he was our best player before he missed. but those players would never miss that. ever. he does it once a season.

he is never going to become that ruthless, composed, top class finisher. the fact that he still scored 31 goals this season without being very good at shooting is testament to his movement and intelligence to get into good positions. tonight is on Pep and VAR and Ederson as much as it's on him.

the point is, if aguero's knee is fucked we need a goalscorer. fast.

I’d throw a new contract at him tomorrow and say sign it or resign.

I don’t see any benefit to him staying for one more season. We’ve already domestically peaked under him and he will find a way to fuck up in Europe as he usually does.

He either commits to a long-term rebuild or go and we get someone who will.

I cant believe that their second goal was allowed to stand. Laporte clearly gets tripped & their other forward who was in an offside position interfears with play.
 
I think it safe to say we will never win the Champions League under Pep.

Love Pep but why oh why did he set us up so defensive. He got into the players minds that Lyon are a great side and WE have to change for a team 7th in their league ???. NO other should have been Lyon that changed we should have had a front 3 of Foden Sterling Jesus, KDB centre basically the same 11 that started against RM.
Our midfield why defensive no creative player.
Sorry I would prefer to lose 5-4 than to have had to watch that. All on Pep this one.
 
Flat track bullies sums us up. For me we are in a whole load of shite and I think Guardiola is so dominant that he's stifling to the players own thought processes. There comes a time for all managers when a change is needed and I'm beginning to feel this has ran its course.
 
Mistakes all over the pitch and in the formation. Our best players didn’t show up.

sterlings miss summed it all up.....I’m sure he doenst know how he missed that and it cost us but we really didnt deserve anything.

playing without fans in games like this let alone a final is not football for me.
 
Remember after the arsenal game I got a lot of stick for saying this, but again we make the same mistakes time after time.

Said it last year after Spurs, we will not win the CL under Pep.

He won it twice with an amazing Barca side, then got done by Di Matteo's average Chelsea side and has consistently shit himself in the knockout stages ever since.

He owes David a massive apology for allowing his City career to finish like that.
