Madrid bid £33m for Tevez (Merged)

Re: Tevez

Anyone notice how this story has come out after RM slipped four points behind Barca in the league. This is just mourinho deflecting attention away from the fact that his expensively assembled squad still isnt as good as barca.

Im sure they have made contact, im sure most clubs have made contact, it really doesnt mean an awful lot, we could make contact with barca and ask about the availability of david villa and messi and im sure theyd give us much the same answer as we would give to real madrid
Most clubs don't waste their time making contact with a players club unless they've perhaps received some form of encouragement. Tevez is hardly in the same situation as Villa and Messi right now.

Sure they're probably trying it on a bit, but if they have approached us, you can bet your bottom dollar they'll have discussed it with Joorabchian first.

Re: Madrid bid £33m for Tevez

if real really want tevez id say yes ya can have him but we want alonso and ronaldo and watch them run away ronaldo is the only player who is consistant for real this season

Re: Tevez

and you can bet your bottom dollar that joorabchian has no say in it. I know they are friends yes but he does not own the player anymore and thats just the way it is.

Messi and Villa are in exactly the same position as tevez is in, in that they are contracted to a club who doesnt want to sell them and has no need to sell them either

Re: Tevez

talkSPORT nearly had me at it then. Their news bulletin ended with them saying there are rumours of a major transfer in the offing, a strike based in the north...............................................east!!! Phewww!!
Whoever it is, is going to the midlands apparently.

Tevez is going nowhere.

"I am happy now. The issue is in the past. I had my discrepancies with the boss, but we spoke as two men and everything is solved and I'm very happy."

Having beaten Wolves 4-3 on Saturday, City are currently level on points with Manchester United at the top of the Premier League.

City have played two games more than their local rivals, but Tevez says belief is growing that they can win the title for the first time since 1968.

"We are on the right tracks and we are growing every day," he said. "This is not the same team as two or three years ago - it is much stronger.

"If we continue to play and win as a team, all the results will come in our favour. The more games we win, the more we are starting to believe that we can win the championship. What I think and what I dream is to make history for this club.

"It has been a long time for this club not to win a title and my dream is to change that. It is what we are all trying to achieve."

Of course he has a say in it, why do you think Tevez comes across as such a nutter? Because Joorabchian handles the business side of Tevez, and Tevez concentrates on the what happens on the pitch. If Joorabchian tells Tevez to be unhappy, Tevez becomes unhappy.

When was the last time Villa or Messi handed in a transfer request? (ok it doesn't work with Villa because he's just joined)

Like i said, i'd be surprised if it happened now (Kia played his cards too early, with the whole previous saga) but i half expect it come Summer time.
