Direct flights now £500+.
Anyone found decent indirect flights?
No sign, yet, of the club doing anything. And I don’t fancy there / back same day, which is likely to be only option they’d offer.

I’ve booked via Alicante then flying back to London.

I have 6000+ points on UCL scheme. Hoping it’s enough for a ticket

There were flights via Heathrow with BA/Iberia but they seem to have rocketed too.

I emailed Miles at Sport Options earlier in the week and he said he would be looking at doing a plane for this one but depended on what he could get from the airlines and aircraft availability/costs. Radio silence on their FB page so assuming he’s not had much luck so fair. Maybe some news on Monday from them?

The problem with games at such short notice for chartering planes is the cost and also the availability of aircraft and crews, especially during half term.

I know people often fly to Alicante for Madrid and get the train to keep it cheaper, but it’s not the most convenient way of doing it

If only the club had a travel partner…

Would it be beyond the realms of possibility that the club could charter two planes to fly in on the morning of the game and return after the match and run them cost?

No chance.

Suppose they COULD but doubt they will.

It is bizarre how poor the set up is on travel.

Other than advertise packages at inflated prices for home matches - the travel partner is next to useless.
