I think you’ll find that Savile fooled pretty much everybody, including the Queen. The Archbishop of Canterbury and Mother Theresa. As for a ‘cover up’, it is a little soon to tell (unless of course you are privy to evidence so far not made available to the public). You may have disagreed, with her policies, assuming you were around at the time,you may have found her manner objectionable, she may have changed things that you hold dear, but to say that you would have ‘gladly burned her alive’ is extreme and dare I say, ‘over dramatic’. I find Ed Miliband objectionable, irritating, shallow and embarrassingly unconvincing. I won’t vote for him, but neither would I want to burn him alive, nor would I want to buy a music track that celebrates his death. That is probably the difference between the far left and the centre right.
I despair I really do about the naivety or denial of some people.

In terms of Thatcher "covering up paedophiles" are we just talking about Cyril Smith here or are there others that there is any factual data to support?

She did divide the nation with her policies and values more than any other British PM ever and we could all knock our heads together all night about it but there's one thing that we should ALL be in full agreement with and it is this:
It is a known fact now that she turned a blind eye to paedophiles from her OWN cabinet who were serving under her at the time and other MPs in parliament and Thatcher shamelessly covered it up thus allowing them in theory to carry on abusing and raping young children.
She KNEW about Sir Peter Hayman the convicted paedophile.
She KNEW about Sir Peter Morrison the convicted paedophile, her own personal aid who she later gave a knighthood to...
and she even KNEW what Sir Cyril Smith was up to as well before giving him a knighthood......
