In terms of Thatcher "covering up paedophiles" are we just talking about Cyril Smith here or are there others that there is any factual data to support?

Because not only did she not cover up the Cyril Smith thing, the documents released shown that she almost certainly had no knowledge of it at all.

Link?

She was told about Police investigations into him and that knighting him risked damaging the honours process. That's just the stuff that was eventually released with other files being withheld on 'national security' grounds.

Linked above in a post that I was writing, but the thrust of it is that she was informed that there had been a Police investigation into it and no impropriety was found. It was written off because it was centered on spanking rather than the more gruesome penetrative sex that I'm sure would have been a big red flag. As silly as this sounds in 2015, many people at the time thought that spanking children's bare bottoms was perfectly acceptable and that's all this was - a rather innocent form of punishment. They were wrong of course as the allegations in the 2000s show but making that judgement call in the 1980s with just that as the primary source of knowledge isn't exactly a fair statement to say that "she knew all about Cyril Smith's paedophilia".
Fuck sake I'll post the link again on Smith:

1. We're linking to the same story in different papers. Only one of us is actually reading past the title though.

2. The Times is a subscription site so about three people can read that article. I've provided the same story in a different link in the other post.

Where did I mention the IRA
By willing a presons death at their hands, you've quite clearly aligned yourself with them.

Why don't you get a fukn life mate.
She was a Scottish hater pure and simple, that's enough for me.
Grow a pair son.
And that makes it ok for your pals to blow up a hotel in Brighton, causing death and distruction and the maming of many innocent people along the way? And you think I need to get a life.

Set up her unelected bankrupt crony in an expensive suite in Claridges to organise using the British police force as her own political army in an act of almost civil war.
What a great Briton .
Civil war? Pahhaha
Many journalists, politicians and political analysts used the term "civil war" in relation to the strike.
As a war between two organised groups within the same state or country with one side determined to change a government policy and the other led by someone who described her opponents as "the enemy within" and used a domestic police force to physically attack civilians and who were in turn attacked themselves, I think the term is not to be considered hyperbole in many respects.
But I suppose "pahhaha" demonstrates a different level of analysis.

Reading the nut jobs posting about Thatcher is similar to listening to the rags reminisce about Ferguson.

They raise a toast to the memory but in their heart of hearts they know it will never be the same again and that the legacy will take decades to recover from.

One of the quotes from it and the most damning:

MARGARET THATCHER was warned Cyril Smith had been accused of sexually abusing eight boys before she granted the Liberal MP a knighthood, government papers reveal.

This is from the FUCKING SUNDAY TIMES not a DAVID ICKE FUCKING WEBSITE!

i love how to this day she's hurting the lwnj's.
Do you love the fact that she covered up for her friends who raped children? Do you love the fact that she deliberately pinned the blame on the 96 innocent victims of the Hillsborough tragedy on the poor innocent people who died, innocent kids who just wanted to go and watch their beloved football team and died because the people who were supposed to serve and protect them didn't

Please post a link to any evidence she blamed the victims for the Hillsborough disaster.

I can totally understand the hate from working class people

She was too divisive to be a leader of a nation, would have been good in wartime though
