Maggie Thatcher

Weird how the left always come across as twice as hateful as the right.
I wonder how much Blair and Brown knew about what was happening in small mill towns?
My bet is that they've offered their own brand of nonce up for an honour or two.

Shall I keep them coming? Will you keep rubbishing?

I'm not rubbishing them, thats the funny thing. I'm telling you what the article past the headline and first paragraph actually says. This one also supports my side of the argument and its becoming increasingly clear that you are forming factual opinions based on headlines and conspiracy theories
WTF are you on about? You stated wrongly that Thatcher didn't know anything about Haymans sexual activities, the link from the Telegraph proves categorically that you're wrong and Thatcher WAS informed of him. Can't you fucking read?

You'll say black is white next.

Maybe you can quote the relevant section that specifically says that?
Unlike you to be so remiss Damo.

1st three paragraphs...

Margaret Thatcher, the former prime minister, was kept fully informed about an investigation into a senior diplomat who was embroiled in a paedophile scandal, newly-released secret documents show.
Mrs Thatcher received a stream of memos from officials about the “unnatural sexual proclivities” of Sir Peter Hayman.
The prime minister was carefully coached on how to deflect difficult questions about the affair after it was finally exposed by Private Eye magazine in 1980.
The documents disclosed for the first time that Hayman had been engaged in “sexual perversion” since at least 1966, when he was a minister in the British military government in West Berlin.

Bit of a reality check here !!! All these women were probably living in abject poverty , sharing outside toilets whilst working long hours to earn a pittance that barely covered their rent etc. It's little wonder they can hardly raise a smile for the photograph in ' The Good Old Days ' eh !!!

This is the kind of society that people like Thatcher would crave, complete domination of the working class. Keep the skiving uneducated rabble down where they belong

Stalybidge Mill in the 1930's

The funny thing about Margaret Thatcher is that even though she was elected three times, I've hardly ever met anyone that's admitted to voting for her.
Northern poor city type are you?

I,obviously come from North of Carlisle,so the FUKN witch/woman that is Thatcher had no time for me,or my kind.
She fukn raped Scotland big time.
Coal mining, steelworks, car plant producers, oil, and her best.....
THE FUKN POLL TAX
She fukn hated us,and tbh the feeling was mutual.
Not surprised to hear about her Westminster hush-hush shite.
I celebrated the day she died, pity it wasn't in the Grand Hotel in Brighton.

Shameful

I agree, shameful.

If you don't agree with someone's policies, (which you are perfectly at liberty to do) vote to vote them out at a General election, not wish they were murdered at the hands of terrorists.
Disgusting wasn't it.

The left are vile at times.

You lefties suggesting the late, great Margaret Thatcher was involved in the cover-up of paedophiles is laughable. You want to look closer to home and at the likes of Tessa Jowell and Harriet Harman who actively encouraged it!

Parody poster.
You're shite at retorting truths aren't you bud.

Funny, I've often thought that of you. I often wonder if somebody is genuinely thick enough to post the bollocks you do and not be on a wind up..

I do it because all serious disscussion on here has dissappeared since the cellar became the home to far right politics.

Its like an EDL rally on here nowadays.

We have 15 pages of discussion about a former Conservative Prime Minister, which is mostly, "I hate her", "she was a woman", "rot in hell", blah...blah...blah..., and you think the cellar is right wing?
He thinks the Socialist Workers Party is right wing.
