so why are so many not bothering.

where's the romance in finishing fourth, no matter what it brings.

i cannot believe the amount of people who boycott the cup until the later stages, its actually a chance to see a decent game.

I too love the cup. Th edream of Wembley and a major cup final is something I have not experiencedas a City fan even though watching them for 23 years. Live the dream.

I have a quick question. I have a ticket in 111 riight next to the away fans obviously by choice.
I was thinking of taking a 10 year old to the game. There is a feee seat in 109. As we stand all game and he is only 10 I would have thought it woul dbe ok for him to stand in front of me in 111.

Could be a bit rough for him? Lot of swearing but I can explain not to repeat after game?
Right next to Stoke, I love it but I guiess if things start getting thrown across I can move him away. I coudl try and change my seat but much prefer beng in 111 / 110

Wouldn't normally take him here but I already have my ticket and I think it will be a good experience into twhat following City is about. I will wait a bit longe rbefore taking him to away matches with me.

Any thoughts?

I love the Cup. It's all or nothing and doesn't depend on anyone else's result. Great feeling when you win but awful when you go out.

Don't believe him, he couldn't even be bothered to come to the Carling Cup Semi Final!
There was a better atmosphere in the pub in London than being sat next to you and listening to you moan all the time! I'm pissed off I missed the punch-up though.

I love the F.A. Cup. I'll be there tomorrow as well with my fingers crossed.

I can't quite come to terms with the fact that some City fans would choose finishing fourth over actually winning a cup. Not just any cup either, the oldest and greatest cup competition in the world. Maybe in a few years if we have the sort of success United have had recently, we would perhaps make the F.A. Cup a lower priority. But not when we've had a 34-year famine. Nevermind the glory and prestige of final day, City fans everywhere will feel liberated if we actually put a pot on the table.

Incidentally, does anyone know how many tickets have been sold for tomorrow? And, how many of those are Stoke fans?

I am beginning to wonder what is wrong with us. A day to go to a very winnable Fifth round FA Cup tie and absolutely no excitement on the Forum.

I think it is quite feasable for one of the other big sides left in the competition; Spurs, Villa or even Chelsea to go out this weekend and I am quite optimistic that we can put in a decent performance tomorrow against Stoke.

The posters on the Forum who would take fourth spot over winning the FA Cup drive me absolutely mental. I want to see my team win something, and win something soon.

This is MAGIC

C'mon you Blues!

The FA Cup still does it for me no matter whom we're playing. I'm not sure what the gate will be tomorrow but I am sure that should we reach the final this forum will be full of posts about the injustice of the ticket allocation etc.
