I'll be showing and describing footage from Maine Rd's history including the earliest known colour footage of the ground in 1934, packed cup matches from the 50s, Maine Rd's final game as viewed from the Kippax and a powerful clip taken amongst the fans standing on the Kippax which shows the true atmosphere of the Kippax.

Nice to see our old house on Thornton Road right at the front. No 88, you could just see between the Platt Lane Stand and the Kippax from the bathroom window.I'll have a go too

This looks like a lot of those Mediterranean stadia where they get desert proportions of rain. Oakie, you used to go when it was like this. Did it not rain then?
