Great photo just over 68,000 v Sheffield Wednesday cup replay 5th round 1934,went on to play Stoke in the Quarterfinals over 84,000,my dad was at both games.

Did the Score Board End still attack the away fans at Kippax Corner back then.

Fcuk me it was 'interesting' around there in our last two seasons.

1934 in that area there wouldn't be many car owning families around. The cars on the car park would probably belong to the players and the bosses and the people coming over from Sheffield.
