i know its derby day and thats all we can think about today,but i heard this on the news and just read the story in the paper.Major Phil Packer yesterday finished the london marathon 2 weeks after starting it,the guy lost both his legs in a rocket attack in Basra and completed the course on cructches to raise funds for the help the heroes charity.They talk about that liitle welsh fucker giggs get a knighthood my arse it is guys like Phil that deserve honours like that,cause i for one look at people who do things like he as done and nothing but admiration for him.A true Hero himself

here, here, very well said. the guy gives real inspiration to others and has truly sacrificed for the cause. puts a lot of things into perspective when you read things like this.

on a related topic does anyone remember that geezer doing the london marathon a few years ago in a diving suit with lead shoes on, it took him about 3 weeks, now that is dedication (borderline obsession)!
