I stood on the terraces in all stands at Maine Rd & although there was obviously criticism of players I've never before experienced the way some fans ENJOYED Bravo's discomfort. They wanted to make the jokes & have a laugh at his expense & even when he did something good, the sarcasm spewed - reflects our society of mob muggings! (Almost)

I think you are looking back from rose tinted there, city players were openly booed on occasions at Maine Road. I've heard the odd ironic cheer for Bravo but nothing like what he would have had suffered years ago, in view of his performances I think fans have treated him OK. Obviously he does not read the nonsense on here so generally I bet he is none the wiser to the abuse.

That said the newer city fans have not seen that many poor players, like we have so, it is a shock to system for City fans who populate forums etc generally hysterical!!!

I honestly don't think I am (I only wear blue tinted ones :) LOL) As you say, " players were openly booed on occasions" but it was usually different players who happened to be having a bad game during a time when our team was dire. I can assure you that this year, round me, I could hear the glee in some folks voices when Bravo touched the ball and they could jeer. They literally enjoyed it - whereas the occasions to which you refer were boos from frustrated fans. Having said that, I agree that newer fans haven't experienced the REALLY bad players.

Last season, I would always guess correctly when he'd save a shot or not. Football is mental as it is physical. Something affects your mental state and it affects your physical. Your instincts don't kick in as quickly, slower reflexes, etc. The Hart situation including the media plus jeering probably didn't help. There's a capable keeper in there. Just needs support regardless of if he's a millionaire or not (some here seem to think making millions means players aren't human).

Yep they are not robots,it's disappointing he is not performing and the crowd getting on his back,something has to change from both i think
