Five minutes into the second period in Liverpool's pre-season friendly against Greuther Fürth on Monday, Harvey Elliott received the ball midway in his own half.

With plenty of space ahead of him, Elliott was able to sweep an excellent pass down the line for Mohamed Salah, who cut inside and slipped a perfectly-weighted ball in behind for the diagonal run of Darwin Núñez, enabling the number nine to round the goalkeeper and steer it home.

Less than 10 minutes later, the same combination struck again as Salah lofted a pass to Núñez, who controlled it on his chest, chopped inside the defender and calmly finished with the side of his foot.

Lol!
