Man City v Swindon 1964 /1965 Season

City had been mid table all that season and had been knocked out of the FA Cup by Shrewsbury Town prior to the Swindon game which I didn’t attend.
I was there for the next home game (v Swansea) which City won 1-0. By then Johnny Crossan had been signed from Sunderland,which raised the fans‘ level of optimism somewhat, (justifiably as it transpired) and the crowd figure increased by almost four thousand.
