I've gone for Silkay as its his debut and he'd had a long lay off, but it could have gone to most of them.

Kolarov was fantastic. Won everything in the air, passing and tackling top notch. Created space all over the pitch. Probably won't win it and there were some stand out performances all over the pitch but he gets my vote.

Going for Stones becuase he blocked a shot from Raffael that was going in and got back to get something on a dangerous cross, as well as being generally brilliant. Tough choice between about 7 players though.

Fernandinho for me, seemed to be at the heart of a lot of things that were exemplary about this performance and moved the ball around exceptionally. Recall a cracking sprint back and tackle in the first half, as well as a couple of superb long range passes that created good chances in front of goal. When's he signing a new contract?

Edit - honourable mention to Stones, often mentioned for his excellence with the ball at his feet but his aerial ability displayed in this game was great - cleared at least 2 dangerous corners tonight.
