Rodri was absolutely immense. Mentions too for Jesus and Merlin, back to something like his best. Performance total opposite to the tempo at Newcastle. Burnley - a team who were founder members of the league and play like it's still 1888.

Rodri, Jesus and Silva were the standouts for me.

Rodri was comfortably the best player on the pitch but I’d still give it Jesus. Did the thing we’ve been struggling to do lately which is score and did it out of pretty much nothing to set the tone for the win, we were struggling to open them up and without that bit of magic it could have got frustrating.

He looked like himself again. Wonderful to see him gliding around finding space and dictating.

Two great goals from Gabby but Rodri stole the show and was everywhere. I was impressed with his willingness to go toe to toe with a Burnley who were determined to rough us up. Have we found a new leader on the pitch I wonder?
