Me too, OC! This is the stats game that shows very little. How much possession did we have v Soton, EFC, Boro? And how much of the possession was in our defensive third, how much of the time did we have the ball where it mattered, and cosequently, how many passes were NOT forwards, and how many did he make that were parallel with the touchlines?

And people say stats don`t lie.They also don`t always show the full story and are mainly used on here to suit some peoples agendas ... mine included. ;)

Our passing is so ineffective. Especially at the start of an attack. it just gives the opposition time to form their defensive lines. We were trying to break quickly at the start of the season but that has all stopped now. - clearly under instruction.
Which is why the 20 mins after the Roberts goal was so pleasing - we were again actually looking to get the ball down the channels for Iche and the wide players to get onto. The players soon stopped doing it though and went back to the totally ineffective sideways and backwards passing in front of the Celtic massed defence.
