Our pace and finishing tonight was dreadful.
So it has to be Sterling who lifted the pace and he finished.
But hang on, no, it's Foden for me. In 4 minutes he defended well and then after one lung busting run he scored a goal that was unsavable. He knows where the back of the net is and that's for sure. Going to be a complete and utter star.
Raheem for me simply because we really looked sloppy up front and without his introduction I think we end up 0-0 tonight. They were sat very deep and we looked like we had no idea where the back of the net was. Lots of possession but woeful finishing with everything hitting a defender or being hoofed high over the bar. My favourite player is Bernado but those chance he fluffed were Sunday morning after a night on the piss finishes and Aguero looked like Raheem on one of his bad days of the past where he could still be playing and still not have scored.
Sterling definitely made the difference to our pace up front which was severely lacking until that point but I think I'll go for Rodri for his all-round game tonight. So glad this guy is with us when you look at what became of the others we were contemplating signing in that position over the last couple of seasons.
