Great to see Mangala have a good solid game and he looked like he wanted to prove a point.
I can't agree with those who voted for the Prince, i thought he had an off night when very little went right for him. Sterling continues to frustrate with his choices when on the ball and i've yet to see his 'blistering pace' take him past players when he has the chance.
Fernandinho put a proper shift in, as did Sanga, but i'm going for Otamendi. Won almost everything in the air and kept the leagues most in-form player very quiet.

I absolutely love KDB (as do you judging by your username) but want more of the player who turned up at Sunderland at the weekend. Just not quite consistent enough just yet.

I agree on consistency, but I did feel he was the best attacking player against Leicester.
Funny thing is if Agüero tucks home his cross early 2nd half as normally he always would, everybody would've been praising KDB again like he's City's Saviour.
Instead Agüero missed a sitter, no assist for KDB, and people are talking about his consistency again... not fair imo. He tried for 90 minutes, provided some excellent passes (remember the cheeky throughball to Silva also in the 2nd half), and worked hard.
Being a big fan also makes me one of his worst critics, so I think I know when it's good and when it's bad.

I agree in general but again, I think De Bruyne was City's best performer in attack yesterday. Problem with being an assist specialist, you still rely on someone to find the back of the net. Sergio should have last night and would always have if not for the lack of form due to injury.
And not just the assist on Aguëro, but he also provided some decent balls to Silva last night but again with no further result.
It could always be better of course and I'm not pretending he pulled a worldie last night but I'm quite convincend that if everyone else would've been at his level last night City 'd have won it quite comfortably.

I'm embarrassed for him. That's somebody who clearly doesn't understand football or had his critique already in his book.

It's even more laughable if Ladyman didn't do the actual ratings in his paper, and Martin Samuel provided the marks, in addition to also doing the match report?

The ratings which mark Mangala down as our second-best player on the night behind Sterling, with a mark of seven out of ten.
