Toss up between Fernandinho, Sterling or Dave for me. Thought the whole back four was distinctly average including Laporte. Zinchenko got better as the game went on, but he was responsible for the stupid mistake that led to the goal and gave the ball away a lot first half. Garcia’s neat and tidy, but my concerns re his lack of height, power and particularly pace remain unchanged.
Up front, perhaps we’ve been spoiled by having Sergio rifling the ball home for so long, but until Jesus starts striking and heading the ball cleanly on a consistent basis, he’s never going to be first choice after Sergio finally retires.
That’s now 7 times we’ve lost away from home this season, each a carbon copy of the other. Dominate possession, rack up 20 or 30 (26 today) shots at goal, fail to score, and then shoot ourselves in the foot at the other end. Need a few new faces if we’re gonna turn around a 23 point deficit next season

He actually played well apart from one mistake in midfield which cost us the game. If we could've taken our chances it wouldn't have cost us anything.
Bang on, he’s the latest in a long line of fullbacks over the decades who’ve become easy targets for the boo boys. Laporte made a far worse error earlier on and got away with it, Chenko made his and got punished by a sensational finish. Fair play to Chenko he didn’t hide and he kept trying right to the end.

It's not even full-backs, it seems to be left-backs.

RBs: Micah, Zabba, Sagna, Danilo, Walker (all respected - barring the final year of Zabba/Sagna)
LBs: Kolarov, Clichy, Delph, Mendy, Zinchenko (seemingly always their fault)

Voted for Zinchenko but without conviction. Strange from Pep to take Mahrez and Sterling off, looked the only players able to score for us in this game. Only two substitutions, Pep does not seem to care much about this result. Another less than average performance in the Premier League, it sums up our season, but we keep the best for Champions League and FA-cup where we will be more focused.

Good point, certainly true of the last decade or so. Looking further back to the days of Edgy, poor lad used to get dogs abuse.
