The much yet unfairly maligned Benjamin Mendy started the game well - even playing centre-forward on occasions - and was consistent throughout. Gabriel Jesus showed his Brazilian heritage with a windefully executed piece of control and finish and yet my Man of the Match is Rodrigo Hernández Cascante [Rodri]: the natural successor to Barcelona's wonderful Sergio Busquets:
