MANCHESTER UNITED and Liverpool are among the "ten confirmed participants" in the 24-team Fifa Super Club World Cup in 2021 which could take place in China.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino has pushed the idea since his election and it looks like it will now be going ahead in three years' time.

It will become a farcical competition if it omits the champions of England or United and Liverpool get into it and they don’t even qualify for the Champions League. It should be done according to the last 8 of the Champions League and then any league winners/highest place domestic teams not already included.

Barcelona, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Inter, Juventus, Ajax and Paris Saint-Germain are the other teams who will definitely be present.

Europe will have 12 places in total and the other two will be selected from a group which includes Manchester City, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Porto and Benfica.

2+9+2=11 then so.
 
Basically, in the 1st draft of the Cup the majority of teams will play only 2 games, getting 50m for that. It's a significantly richer tournament that the CL. I think it's just a starting point and we'll see it expanding and threatening the CL in the future.

they are running scared of manchester city and want to change or take there ball home again its a joke. why would manchester city get involved with the scum and this would have never happen if we was still little old man city. yes we are the richest club in the world and the need for being in the biggest competitions is what the manager and players and owners want but remember them c*nt at uefa did is over big time with the FFP and the officials in games and mark my words will again

manchester city are that rich and powerful we should be calling the shots not them any new league's or competitions should be on our terms and the others should be backing us not uefa or the scum. the premier league is the biggest league in the world and top of the tree is manchester city everybody wants to jump on board we are the new not the old why would you jump on a sinking ship like united and uefa even the rats jump into the sea

am of many manchester city fans who are well pissed off with uefa and its champions league and could not give a shit about it they can keep the piss pot and pass it around there members when they need and lift and selected to win it. am happen to win the premier league and cups in england and lets see how long before they come knocking at our door when we have the best team and players in the world and the tv companies want to show us and our world class team
