Didn't know this was a thing until recently. It's a 7 a side game with regional leagues all over the country, you need a BMI of over 27.5 and it's all ages. I started playing again a few weeks ago and love it, well run and you get extra goals for losing weight or lose a goal if you put any on like me last night!

31 quid a month for some bloke to say well done whilst the rest of them call you a fat ****?
Arr, the cost of getting fitter too much? I just want to play football with similar tubsters, I model myself on Jamie pollock

It's a good idea and I know a mate who has enjoyed playing in a similar tournament.

It's a bit weird how they do the points table because it's like traditional football combined with a weight watchers league.

So you could lose 5-0 but still get decent points if you're team had lost a load of weight for example.

It's a shame there's not just a casual football league though for any shapes or sizes. Just because you have a lowish BMI doesn't mean your fit at all.

Sunday league ?

That then puts you in with the actually fit, overly competitive types who want to win at any cost.

The man Vs fat league is a casual league where there's a common goal for everyone to band together and enjoy playing.

I just want an actually casual league where people want to just have a kick about without wanting to break your legs.
