On my lunch and I've ten minutes to catch up........have I missed anything whatsoever in this thread?

Nothing really except heavy speculation. I think we will all be none of the wiser until after the FA Cup final.

Dave comes along with his little winks to make out he maybe or maybe not already knows something to move things along a little.
Fantasy gets in his little quips about how bad the mancini is but nothing else
Prestwich agrees with anything they all say soon enough he will drop the odd I may know something. Nip posts is usual boring long winded posts which is just the same thing but with the words jumbled around a little.
Tolmie pops in with some info which might or might not be happening.

It is quite predictable really
I agree with everything you say. But I've just had an interesting text....
Whats in the text mate, spill the beans

May of read it wrong but I think PB is responding to the previous post and taking the mickey!

Our owners seem to have a very strategic approach with a definite long term vision for the club; does that really sit with a brand new long term manager contract followed by dismissal?

If we assume that Pellegrini is joining the club, is there any reason that he would not be offered, and be interested in, taking over the largest "football development" job in world football, taking over football development at every level from EDS down with Mancini in charge of the first team.

I'm just throwing this out there. Why not pay for an outstanding coach to take over football development when your aim is to be the very best?

I wouldn't like to be the one who has to explain the rules of cricket to Tevez.

Especially for Carlos

Cricket: As explained to a foreigner...

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.

Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.

When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.

There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out.

When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game

Fucking brilliant!

I think he'd rather take a massive pay cut and leave then try to understand those rules!

Thats an intereseting thought and then if Mancini goes at any point he is there ready to step in!

Posters who tell porkies should be reprimanded.

So a moderators warning for the entire Transfer forum then?
Some folk post in good faith, some are wums, others maybe rags.
The hard part is telling the difference.

Your not wrong, it's a minefield, it's not just the Transfer forum though is it?

The mancini thread in the main forum along with any religious or political threads in the cellar also brings out some fruit cakes, it's sorting the wheat from the chaff that's the challenge
