I don't see why Navas would be much worse than anyone else against Barcelona. Most people who dislike Navas have a problem with his attacking contribution, but you can't fault his workrate, pace or attitude. If we decided to play with wingbacks I think he would be our man.

I'm going to throw this in. Why can't we play Navas in right back? He is great in tracking back and is very fast and can be moulded into a right back!

If it occurred to you, then I'm sure it was at least a passing thought for the most imaginitive manager in the business. Seems he has decided against thus far.

As much as Pep does change players out of position at times. I do think he uses the squad rather then moving first team players around.

I have no idea if Maffeo is good enough, but given he was promoted and not loaned out, I would expect him to see some game time
