This is considered as one of the most prestigious fixtures in the Europa League so i hope that we do not make much changes to the team that beat chelsea although i would like to see Given and AJ starting a game.

The match takes place on Thursday 30th September 20:05 BST (+1 GMT) at the COMS.

In my opinion the formation should be as follows in order to counter their 4-4-2(sorry for the left back / right back mixup)

I predict that we will win 3-1

I believe Silva will come in at half time or thereabouts but it could be the other way around too. In any case you can be sure that Mancini wont play AJ and Silva together

I think boateng isnt fit enough to play 90 minutes but i think he will start and be substituted after about an hour or so.
 
This game is very difficult to call, it depends on which City and which Juventus turn up. Both teams lack consistency at the moment and both have a lot of new faces. That said, City should have this wrapped up if they can keep Del Piero and Krasic from influencing the game.

Krasic will cause a lot of problems for whoever we play at left back and I expect Zabaleta will be treading on very thin ice if he comes up against him. Del Piero isn't as quick as he once was but he can still score from all over the place and has great vision. The weakness is their back line who don't appear to have met each other before. Motta and Grygera are particularly weak and thus I think we should play both Johnson and Silva up against them at Eastlands. Storari is also far from the standard you would expect from Buffon who will be unavailable for both legs.
 
We need to qualify asap so that we can rest players in later games, but at the same time we need to rest players for the Newcastle game.
