Agree with one of the above posts, unfortunately over the past days/weeks you can start to see what fans of United dislike about Liverpool.

The reason United fans hate Liverpool and vice versa is because they are actually very similar to each other. It's basically sibling rivalry.

I am getting more and more convinced that we are going to win this. The dippers have worked themselves into such a frenzy, they wont't be able to stop themselves charging at us like a bull at a gate. Which of course carries a huge threat and we must defend resolutely. But it also means they are inevitably going to get out of shape, it's unavoidable. They are going to play without control and without discipline and that means spaces opening up and opportunities for us. So long as we stay calm and keep possession as best we can, we will get lots of chances and we are too good to not take any of them.

If we play at speed like we did against the rags last time, they will be all over the place. And when they are behind, panic will set in, and make it even worse, a bit like what happened to the rags in the 6-1. They got desperate and caverns rather than gaps opened up.

We are going to smash them, i am sure of it.

So it's not "political bullshit", it's the good honest truth and exactly why Liverpool can mourn this injustice for years to come.

Well I say it is. I could smell his anti-tory rhetoric from 50 yards. And you know what, I don't give a shit what he thinks. Hillsborough was a terrible thing and people should be left to deal with it in their own way. If he wants to go on a crusade, fine by me. But not in the City Liverpool pre-match thread thanks very much.

I'm slightly in admiration but only that i'm surprised they could manage to spell eclipse right.

With all this moonwalking and show boating they are going to look utter utter cunts on Monday morning ;-)

I hate seeing the two compared to be honest. Suarez is a very good footballer don't get me wrong when he wants to he is right up there among the worlds best but his "gamesmanship" always seems to get overlooked when he's being compared to Aguero. Suarez's first tactic when playing is to run full speed into the box and fall over hoping to con the ref. He's also started kicking the ball at defenders hands trying to get penalties as well. He can score brilliant goals which makes him doing that all the more annoying because he has the ability he doesn;t need to cheat but he does and often.

Aguero whilst having better stats as the above shows has got all his goals and chances in a legitimate way. He doesn't dive, he doesn't try and con the ref, he doesn't bite other players he just lets his football do the talking. Suarez for all the above reasons shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Aguero.

Haha! Good to see them enjoying the moment - if you can't enjoy the good times then what's the point?
We'll beat them on Sunday and we'll win the league, no amount of cringe inducing nonsense posted on the Internet will change that.

Have no good feeling about this game and I think the first 15 minutes will be crucial. If we concede there, its only gonna get worse from there.

Would go for a more defensive formation with Yaya closer to Agüero and Fernandinho-Garcia in the middle to track the Pool runners because if we let them run at Kompany or even worse Demichelis at pace we will have trouble. They will play some over the top balls behind our defenders and try to beat them with pace which is a good way to beat our defence generally.

I would go for pace in the first 11, so for me its Clichy and Navas both starting. Of course Clichy was afwul and got red carded in 5 minutes in the second half vs Chelsea few years ago with two stupid fouls on Sturridge, similar things could happen, the crowd will go mad at every fault we make.

A draw is really good result here, was awful in my opinion at Arsenal from 1-0 up with them having so many injured players, still many said that was a good points, well for me this would be a good point unless we are 3-0 up and finish 3-3 of course.
Lose it, and the title is pretty much goes to them. The extra motivation they would get from beating us is too much for them to make big mistakes in their remaining games.

Get a draw here and beat Sunderland and WbA, thats my plan for the next 3 games. Any less than 7 points would be poor.

Winning at Anfield is extremely hard, they only lost one game at home like us, also we won there last time in 2003. And in last 3-4 years all Pool teams was weaker than the current one. This years Pool with their pressing style is clearly very uncomfortable to play against.
Two years ago maybe we went there and lost horribly 3-0 vs a poor Dalglish team with Carroll scoring maybe two goals...
