I hate seeing the two compared to be honest. Suarez is a very good footballer don't get me wrong when he wants to he is right up there among the worlds best but his "gamesmanship" always seems to get overlooked when he's being compared to Aguero. Suarez's first tactic when playing is to run full speed into the box and fall over hoping to con the ref. He's also started kicking the ball at defenders hands trying to get penalties as well. He can score brilliant goals which makes him doing that all the more annoying because he has the ability he doesn;t need to cheat but he does and often.

Aguero whilst having better stats as the above shows has got all his goals and chances in a legitimate way. He doesn't dive, he doesn't try and con the ref, he doesn't bite other players he just lets his football do the talking. Suarez for all the above reasons shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Aguero.

These stats are meaningless as they don't start from when Sergio joined us, it should be a comparison of ALL performances since they joined the premier league. Don't understand the starting point for Sergio. My guess is that the stats would be even more in Sergio's favour were it to start from when he joined.

Aguero V Suarez is an interesting one.

For me, Aguero is a finisher, like Torres when he was with us. Its all about service, give him some good through balls etc and he'll make em pay.

Suarez is something different though, he has that + he can be the provider and the creator, I don't know if Sergio has that?

You guys would have a better idea since you watch him more. How is he at that stuff?

This game is getting far too hyped up to being a definitive title decider in my opinon.

Even if Liverpool win this game they only have to have a weekend in which they draw and we win and we are above them, that is as long as win our games in hand of course.

I think we are going to win one and lose one against Liverpool and Everton, the rest I see us winning as long as we keep our title mentality going, Palace will be tough but if we are in title mode, which we should be, then we should win.

I will say it again as I have over the last few weeks, for Liverpool to win the league I still think they are going to have to win every game and that means going on a total of a 14 game winning run, only one team has done ever done that in English football history and that was the Arsenal invincibles and even that was done over two seasons.

If they do that then fair play.

we've never needed or used him for that so you'll never know

im quite sure he could give anyone a run for their money in any kind of attacking role though....

Tell you what'll happen, we'll win on Sunday, then lose to Crystal Palace. -_-

Wouldn't surprise me a bit

Sat here in Fuerteventura trying not to wish my holiday away waiting for the game. Being over here and hearing little on the pre match build up is killing me, all the papers im reading is the typical Liverpool wankathon. Please City dont let us down, ill be in a right mood for the rest of the holiday. 2-2 will do me. Silence is deafening from the City camp which I can gather, this is surely a good sign

It's really only this season that Suarez is finishing his chances. I recall the last season or two he was poor in typical finisher situations but would score from harder chances.
I suppose what I'm trying to say that Suarez wasn't clinical til this season.
