it's cheap and cheerful mate, stopped there a few times if I have been working away and stopped in Manc on match weekends, easy to walk to and from the stadium as well

Haven't been around there for a while but there was two or three small pubs right on its doorstep .... plus a bingo hall !
There isn't much else though ...
Best hop on a bus on nearby Hyde Road into town if you're planning on having a few beers !

20 minutes walk to the game, five minutes walk from the centre of town

Cheap and Cheerful, the bar in there stays open til 5am, but calling it a bar is pushing it!
More like a table with about 3 choices of beer, plus about 2 optics hung on the wall!
But its close to the ground, and its cheap to get a taxi in and out of town.

It's in a sidestreet , off Hyde Road , opposite the British Car Auctions .... just near the junction with Alan Turing Way.

Would take you about 20-25 minutes to walk to the ground from there (i used to do the walk reguarly) ..... or a five minute cab ride!
