Does anyone know if the away goal rules apply in the league cup?

better not mean us losing 0-1 in the home leg.
 
Thought we could smash them in December but we lost. We have the better team but we are still with a makeshift defence against some talented forwards and our way of playing suits their strengths. So, we might beat them comfortably but they might surprise us again. Won't be the end of the world, this season is mostly about the CL.
 
Be interesting to see if the ref is influenced by the rag media ‘tactical’ fouling City Bollox today , we’ll see if our 1st foul is a booking .
