Thought we could smash them in December but we lost. We have the better team but we are still with a makeshift defence against some talented forwards and our way of playing suits their strengths. So, we might beat them comfortably but they might surprise us again. Won't be the end of the world, this season is mostly about the CL.
It will be the end of the world. Beating the rags in a semi final at a bouncing eastlands would give me so much more pleasure than watching us beat Real Madrid surrounded by selfie taking strangers and corporate types.

It's very dangerous to put all our eggs in one basket,so we won't be,RM have got some really dodgy var decisions in the cl so we won't get passed them imo

Think we will play a more experimental side tonight, and go all out in the return leg if we have to. Can see Bravo and Otamendi in. Hopefully im wrong. Foden needs to start imo

What's the point of going experimental? It would make sense to experiment with formations and players we might use in the CL. Bravo and Otamendi are not likely starters against Real.

I agree we should try to win the cups and that RM might get favourable decisions but the CL is what Pep and the players dream about. We did something exceptional last season by winning all trophies on offer in England in a historic season for English club football and our players got no recognition because of being unlucky against Spurs.

Bravo is our keeper for domestic cups, it would be a big surprise to see Ederson start
