Just realised why I get a big was of adverts through the door on their own, not had an Advertiser for months.

Load of crap anyway, to the OP with the rag propaganda, can't you blitz the paper with a torrent of emails.....that'll show them. ;)

The Manchester Evening News is launching a brand new title – Manchester Weekly News, Britain’s biggest free weekly newspaper.

The Manchester Weekly News will launch on April 2, 2015 and will be delivered free of charge to more than 265,000 homes across Greater Manchester. To keep things local there will be eight editions of the paper stretching from Salford to Tameside and Oldham, and across Stockport East and West, South Manchester, Sale & Altrincham, Stretford & Urmston plus Wilmslow. It will be delivered in place of the current free titles we publish in these areas and will feature lots of the things you love:

The very best local and community news
What’s on in your local area and Greater Manchester
Full round up of City & United news
Dedicated property sections
Plus lots more about your area!
Editor-in-chief Rob Irvine said: “The new Manchester Weekly News will be a great addition to our portfolio, offering an excellent service of local news and opinion and supporting the Manchester Evening News and our website.

Roughly half of the content of the new paper will be editionised so that local communities continue to be well served. It will also give people a rounded picture of what is happening around the region.

"As a result of our multi-media strategy we are reaching more people in Greater Manchester than we have in a generation. Our website manchestereveningnews.co.uk is the most popular regional news website in the country. Last month an average of more than 170,000 people in Manchester visited the site every day. Globally we reached more than nine million readers across the month."

As well as premier sport coverage and what’s on in Manchester and near where you live, the Manchester Weekly News will also share your views through the fantastic Viewpoints pages featuring your letters, comments and opinion.

Managing director Paul O'Halloran said "The Manchester Weekly News will provide us with circa 400,000 readers with the high ABC1 profile audience our clients want to reach. Adding Britain's biggest free weekly newspaper to the current stable of Manchester Evening News, Metro, paid-for weekly titles and Britain's biggest regional website will ensure we reach more than eight in ten adults across Greater Manchester every week."

Make sure to make a date with Manchester Weekly News, Britain’s biggest free weekly newspaper. To advertise in the new Manchester Weekly News call 0161 829 3300.
